The Federation is Rooted in Research
Dear Fellow Producers,
Beef is not just a protein, but a promise from cattle producers to provide a delicious and nutritious product to consumers. From casual backyard BBQs to dinners celebrating special milestones, beef has a place on the plate.
We should be proud of what the Federation of State Beef Councils is accomplishing to drive demand for beef. We are investing in great people, processes and programs. The Federation is rooted in research, and the work we do is built on the foundation that research has established.
With support from the Federation, product quality is improving, nutritional guidelines are incorporating beef, and consumer trust is growing. Beef’ s role in a healthy lifestyle is gaining momentum, and it is a great time to share the good work we are doing. Our job is far from over, so we continue to innovate and create new opportunities to have the greatest impact on demand.
This 2026 State of the Federation demonstrates how producerdirected investments in the Federation have supported programs that provide value to the industry. When we come together to support these efforts, we make a difference and secure the future for the next generation. Thank you for helping make these important programs possible and for putting the Federation on a path to success.
